You can have a message of your choice engraved on the smooth side of the silver engraving plate. The reverse of the charm features the textured, organic surface characteristic of Itu jewelry. Wear the engraving charm as a pendant on a chain of your choice, on its own or together with other charms.

There is space for a short engraving on the back of the plate. The engraving can run over several lines, with room for around 18 characters in total. A typical engraving is a name and a date. You can also leave the charm without an engraving.

- The edges of the charm are not symmetrical, so the engraved text follows the shape of the charm.
- Maximum engraving length: 18 characters.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
