Its prototypes have been Eastern Finnish animal pendants from the Late Iron Age, to which jingling fins or bell bells were attached. As silver and bronze jewelry, the Two-Headed Horse was in Kalevala Jewelry's collection from the 1950s to the turn of the millennium.
